Hi Ace, MySQL remote access is forbidden due to user abuse. If you want to have MySQL remote access, send a request to our support with your IP address and account information.
NOTE: We only allow up to 5 IP address for client to avoid network congestion that affects other clients.

If you don’t know your IP address, just simply fo to http://www.whatismyip.com

Hi author,

I tried connecting remotely using my user@domain.com:3306 before and it was working fine but now with the new configuration, I am unable to connect.

What’s the value for “Server Host” if I will be connecting remotely? eg. MySQL Query Browser, SQLYog.

Any answer yet?

Please make your instructions clearer. You must understand that not all your clients are professional web masters. I do suggest that you try to make a step by step instructions on how are we going to update our sites. My site has been down for more than a week. And this is the only time that i have read this instruction.

I do hope that next time you will make a timely note about any problems, and a more detailed instruction to help your clients.

Please post a more specific instruction on where we can find this “Data base Host”. I can’t see it. And I don’t know where to click, was it in “MySQL”? Now you see… it’s a little complicated for us because we are not that professional in website making.. though trying. Be a little help naman po.

I tried replacing the entry in my wp_config.php from localhost to ‘db.advanced.http.ph’ since I am under Linux Professional plan and it didn’t work (Error establishing database connection), I also tried ‘db.value.http.ph’ but to no avail. I reverted it to localhost for the mean time, it is up now but with a VERY SLOOOOOOOW response. What should I do?

Bakit ganun napalitan ko na ung localhost sa db.value.http.ph nag error connection pero nung binalik ka sa localhost gumana pero sobrang tagal mag load ng website ko….. please help naman dyan bumagsak ang visiors ko sa websote ko….
